The Problem with 'Boys Will Be Boys' →

For months, every morning when my daughter was in preschool, I watched her construct an elaborate castle out of blocks, colorful plastic discs, bits of rope, ribbons and feathers, only to have the same little boy gleefully destroy it within seconds of its completion.
No matter how many times he did it, his parents never swooped in BEFORE the morning’s live 3-D reenactment...
Intermission
Sleep is wonderful, but rolling over accidentally after surgery guarantees that you’ll be instantly awake for the next hour or so n_n’
Don’t mistake it for complaining…I am grateful every day for what I have, and today at the hospital was the best day I have had in ages!
It’s amazing how much fun two people can have when left alone in a hospital room for hours....
Things that happened today:
-I watched a can of Sierra Mist (which had apparently been shaken to death) escape from someone’s hand and roll down a hallway under its own propulsion.
-After this, the African American nurse who was responsible refused to clean it up and called the janitor, causing her coworker to comment, “You’re not gonna clean it up? What’s the point of even having a black girl...

Today
Today we are painting a German guy’s ceiling. His fifty-foot ceiling. I’m too short to reach the top even with a ridiculously long extension for the roller, so I will have to climb up on his 3.8M Mehrzweck Multifunktionale Aluminum Leiter to reach the rest. Not as dirty as it sounds n_n

What a weirdly cool day! I got to work (where I got attacked by a possessed water hose), went for a walk, had quality time with my baby, got to see my Hezzahbeam for a minute, ate a FANTASTIC home-cooked meal, and am finishing the evening with mixed drinks of pomegranate and vodka XD
It just keeps getting better! Hope you guys are half as happy as I am n_n

Today...
In just a few minutes, actually, I will have to go to the visitation for my Uncle David. Mom told me the people there managed to cut the offending cancer off his face, and that he looks like his old self again. I’m really pleased about that…he was too embarrassed to have the open casket he really wanted and now he can.
There is a place on the obituary page to leave words of comfort,...
It's over.
My Uncle David died today. The only good thing about this is that he didn’t have to wait too long.
Ammo
One theory: The government is buying up all the ammo so the common man won’t have any when the Army descends upon us to kill us all.
My theory: That Theory One is the reason all the ammo is flying off the shelves and it is almost impossible to arm oneself.
Regardless: Does anyone have any .22 long ammo for sale? For reasons? Kthxbai.
