Soooo…no real pain today other than some bruising in my thigh.
But…
A few minutes ago, my heart ‘hiccuped’ like it was going to spaz out. It didn’t, but there was a really bizarre taste in my mouth for a second. Then it all just went away!
What the hell was that all about?!
So I'm supposed to take it easy for the next 72 hours...
Instead, I threw on a dress and some heels* and wore my happy, healthy new glow out to a fancy (early) dinner. FONDUUUUUUE!
Have I mentioned how incredibly good I feel now?!
I’m not even on pain meds! Not even a Tylenol!
*By the way, to emphasize the level of feel goodiness…the last time I wore a dress I got married in it and I didn’t even know I owned these heels n_n’

I don’t even have any pain where they put all the wires in me!
You know what does hurt though? They had to do a blood draw for a pregnancy test. Did you know? If you are dehydrated (say from not having any water for hours before anesthesia) it is VERY hard to find a vein when you draw blood?
The sweet little chickie who stuck me put the needle in my arm and just sort of dug around with it. A lot. Sticking it in all the way to the hilt. Then she dug around some more. That arm hurts a lot…
Even worse than the other side, where she actually managed to find a vein. In the side of my hand. Which spurted blood all over the place XD
Good thing she was so damn sweet or I would have had to bite her n_n’
OUT OF SURGERY!
I made it guys! It went so well that they are defying tradition and letting me go home instead of keeping me overnight! I get to leave in two hours!!!
So now my skin has color, I feel like a warm spring day after a harsh winter, and my hands and feet are not cold!
Yes, warm hands and feet for the very first time in my life is a super big deal!

Well here we are, guys. My surgery happens very early tomorrow morning, so I’m gonna go ahead and leave you lovely people for a while. On the off chance that something happens and I don’t return, I want each of you to know that I am a better person for having met you. My best to all of you and those you love. I’m sorry this isn’t more personal and that I haven’t named names, but I’m terrified I would forget one of you! Besides, you already know how awesome you are n_n
