It didn’t work.
Well, it did work, but not completely.
My surgery removed a heart problem just fine. The problem is that I have MULTIPLE heart problems that we had no idea even existed.
I go back to the doctor in three weeks to prepare for another round of surgery.
If it doesn’t work this time, I’m stuck with this forever.
I could do with a good cry right now.
Follow Up
I go to the doctor tomorrow to let him scan my heart and see how I’m doing. I’ve still had a few flutters, but overall I feel better (though I’ve been taking it VERY easy since the procedure). Still, I won’t know until tomorrow if the surgery was effective. If it was a success and I am cleared for normal activity the first thing I will do is cartwheel across the parking lot...
