My oldest son just started asking questions about his biological father out of the blue. That conversation was harder than anything I have done in a very long time.
I don’t mind the questions about what he was like or why he isn’t around. The question about why I stayed with him and had a baby hurt me like hell.

Earlier Appointment
So I don’t have to wait until October to find out if my surgery worked. Since the government thinks no income at all is too much income to let me have Medicaid, they will be stealing my coverage from me. Either way, the doctor is awesome and he let me bump my appointment up to tomorrow.
I’m so unbelievably nervous.
I think I’m gonna go gorge myself on ice cream and watch...

I learned something today
Did you know that “Suicide is Painless” (a song most of you probably recognize as being Marilyn Manson’s) is the theme song from M.A.S.H.?! It was written by a fourteen year old for use in one of the episodes, but the used the instrumental version for the theme!

We got to hang out with brand new people tonight! It was wonderful! And the best part is that (unlike with our other friends) we can be 100% comfortable with who we are! No hiding, no explaining, no censorship…it was really refreshing n_n

Well, it's been fun
Surgery is in a few hours. If I don’t make it out this time I hope at least some of you will remember me fondly and drink to my memory. At least five women will mourn me, and at least five men will dance. It’s been a great life n_n
Seriously though, I’m sure I’ll be fine. What could possibly go wrong?
